Get ready for the future of medical office administration with a certificate in the growing field of Health Information Technology. This program of study prepares the student for entry-level positions in the fast-paced medical office environment. This one-semester certificate program enables graduates to enter the workforce immediately in a career field that is gaining national attention.

Career Information

The Health Information Technology program is designed to place students into the workforce upon completion of the one-semester certificate program. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in medical offices, and perform administrative duties that vary from office to office, depending on office location, size, and specialty. Administrative duties may include answering phones, greeting patients, updating and filing medical records, and completing insurance forms.

Entry Level: $7.25 to $9.00/hour
