This program is designed for students to enter the workforce upon completion of this four-month certificate. This program prepares students for a career as a certified personal trainer in a health club or corporate wellness program, in private consultation, and in other physical activity enterprises. Personal trainers are not necessarily concerned with the supervision of exercises and fitness routines, but they do play a multifaceted role as an advisor, supervisor, and evaluator of several activities taking place during the routines of clients. Graduates will need to successfully complete the National Personal Training Certification exam in order to become certified and eligible to work.
