What makes this program unique compared to other Agriculture programs?
Iowa Western offers two different programs in the Agriculture field, including the Agriculture Transfer degree, which is designed to transfer to a four-year college or university, and the Agribusiness degree, which is designed to give students the education needed to enter the workforce after two years. The Agribusiness degree can also be completed entirely online. Our students also get hands-on experience using state-of-the-art GPS technology.
Are Iowa Western credits transferrable?
Yes. Although this program is designed to enter students into the workforce after two years, students can transfer to earn a Bachelor's degree. In fact, Iowa Western has an agreement with Northwest Missouri State that allows students to transfer seamlessly and earn a Bachelor's in Technology. To begin your transfer planning early, visit Iowa Western's Transfer Planning web site.
Are scholarships available?
Iowa Western awards more than $1.5 million in scholarships each year. Visit our Scholarship Page for more information.
