What makes this program unique compared to other Culinary Arts programs?
 

A:

The Iowa Western’s Culinary Arts program is housed in the newly constructed Student Center, and its classrooms are fully equipped with stadium-style seating and a high-tech demonstration kitchen. Our students gain valuable hands-on experience in preparing their own menus and executing a mock restaurant for Iowa Western students and staff each Fall and Spring. In addition, our students take a trip to Chicago in May for the National Restaurant Association trade show.

Yes, the Culinary Arts program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation.

Are there additional fees for this program?

Students have to purchase a knife set and uniforms, totaling around $1,000, in their first semester.
