Applied Business: Experiential Learning/Portfolio
About the Program
Do you have a job but want to sharpen your management skills? The Applied Business degree program is made just for you. The program is geared toward those already employed in supervisory capacities and seeking career advancement or career change. The program enables you to earn up to 30 college credits for learning that comes from your past experiences.
This unique individualized program squares up students with the program chair, who helps the student create a program of study. And you don’t pay for experiential credits as they are awarded; you simply pay a flat fee of $325 for credits documented – up to the maximum 30 credits. This is an extremely flexible program.
Many students have successfully used this program to build on when transferring to four-year institutions. Another plus is the ability to continue working full-time while attending as a part-time student.
This program is intended for students who have already demonstrated proficiency in the workplace. This program may broaden the student’s opportunities for promotion, career enhancement, and personal achievement. Every individual who enrolls in the program will have a different situation, so employment options and salaries will vary.
