Management & Human Resources

About the Program

Few professions offer as many opportunities as those in human resources. More and more companies see the need for HR personnel, and you could become one by enrolling in Iowa Western’s Management and Human Resources program. In just two years, you can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree and begin working immediately.

In this program, you will acquire the foundation needed for a wide range of careers by studying accounting, marketing, teamwork, quality assurance, problem solving, and communications.

One example of the unique hands-on aspects of the program is preparation of a Disaster Preparedness Plan in conjunction with the Red Cross’ Certified Flood Control program. Students learn how to build a sandbag wall on campus. With classes offered at times that will fit your busy schedule, this program has a 100 percent job placement rate.
