If you’re a sports enthusiast and would like to find a way to blend your career with something you enjoy, enrolling in Iowa Western’s Sports Marketing program may be a good fit for you.

Sports can be more than just a hobby, it can be your career. The field of sports marketing is growing, and many sports organizations need people like you to market their business.

In this program you will learn the foundation needed to transfer to a four-year institution and work towards a bachelor’s degree. In addition to the general education courses you will need, Iowa Western’s experienced faculty will teach you more about the sports marketing industry, retail sales, as well as buying and selling, and merchandising.

Career Information

This program is designed for students intending to transfer to a four-year institution upon completion of this two-year degree. Sports marketers promote and manage athletes, teams, sports facilities, and sports-related businesses and organizations. Other job opportunities include facilities directors, sports agents, sales directors, promotions managers, ticket sales directors, and public relations directors.
