Firing Unethical Clients: Right & Duty!
Most insurance ethics courses center on the producer's conduct, behavior, morals, and ethics. Although this course will touch upon these responsibilities, it will focus on the rights and duties of the agent within the underwriting guidelines in determining the ethical behavior of his or her client. If your client is non-compliant with your ethical standards and guidelines, learn how you can professionally end the relationship by firing the client in an ethical way. Mold/ Dry Rot: the Hidden Risks
There are insurance risks we are all aware of, such as an automobile accident, a fire in our home, medical expenses, and insuring the lives of income earners, but there are other hidden risks we may not think about. Do people insure for mold and dry rot? Is there coverage under the homeowner policy to cover these risks? If you get water damage from sewer, or rainstorms backing up sump pumps or even if your washer overflows, are you covered? Do you need special endorsements on your policy? Do you have to mitigate or prevent further damages? What do sellers need to fix and/or disclose and buyers need to do to reduce or eliminate loss due to these perils? You will need to contact Community Educators at 1-800-747-7574 to register and pay for the class. Fee $45
