Baseball Bus Trip With a Midwestern Perspective
Don't miss the baseball bus trip of a lifetime. We will attend two major league games, four minor league games, go to seven museums; including Field of Dreams, Red Faber Exhibit, Bob Feller Museum, Werner Park tour and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City. Will attend a Chicago Cubs games at Wrigley Field. Some meals included, otherwise we're on our own at the ballpark. If you register and pay in full by February 15th you'll save $50.00. Take the six day trip with John Shorey, Professor at IWCC is the tour guide.(Cost is based on double occupancy for motel rooms.) Fee $739

Basic Dog Obedience
For puppies (over 6 months) and adult dogs that have no training or need a refresher course. We offer tips on health, grooming, and nutrition as well as introducing simple commands such as sit, stay, come, and more with an introduction to rally obedience. We use positive reinforcement techniques and make learning fun for both dog and owner. A certificate is given after successful completion of this 8 week course. Fee $39

Beginning Dog Obedience Class
You teach your children to be good citizens, instilling in them the right behavior in public and private, so why not do the same for your dog? You will be learning, right along with your dog, behaviors that will help the both of you to be model citizens. At the completion of the course, you will have the opportunity to earn the AKCs Canine Good Citizenship Award. Do not bring your dog to the first class. No dogs younger than 12 weeks. Fee $79

Beginning Golf Class
Golf is a sport everyone in the family can enjoy. Golf for beginners will cover the introductory aspects of the game including rules, equipment, scoring, pre-swing. You will spend time out on the course learning the basic swings and putting. You will receive handouts that will help you recall what you have learned. Iowa Safe Boating
General information will be covered concerning boats and maintenance, info to make your boating experience safer and more comfortable, tips on how to be a more courteous boat operator and laws and regulations to which you must adhere. Class is for Iowa students. You will receive a manual and you will take a certification exam. Upon successful completion, the student will send $5.00 (fee) to the Iowa DNR for the Iowa DNR Boater Education Certificate. Fee $0

Outdoor Dutch Oven Cooking
Learn the basics of Dutch Oven cooking while making a meal. Dutch Ovens are large cast iron pots used as outdoor baking chambers with charcoal. Seven or eight new and different recipes will be made to be eaten during the class. Class held at Nishna Bend Nature Center; led by Shelby and Audubon County Naturalist, Christina Roelofs.
