Basics of Wastewater Digestion
This course is designed to provide basic to intermediate level instruction on the effective operation and maintenance of wastewater systems. This course will provide an overview of Troubleshooting, Operating, and Maintaining Wastewater Digesters. It is designed for wastewater operators who are responsible for these processes and will be useful to any mechanical plant operator. Aerobic and Anaerobic Digestion will be covered. Fee $199

Cosmetology

Cosmetology Home Study
The Iowa Board of Cosmetology requires two hours of law. All IWCC continuing ed classes will contain one hour of law, but if you have hours from another source that did not include law, or if you are out of sequence for the two hours that you need, we are providing an independent home-study course consisting of a booklet and test, which we will send you. You will have three weeks to study the booklet and send the completed test back to us for grading. Upon passing, you will be sent a certificate awarding two hours of Law and Rules. You can start anytime, just call us. $25

Hair and More Color and Cut
Mary Lee Foltz and Kathy Ward, Hair Tech Instructors and Iowa Cosmetology Educators, will present and demonstrate the newest in hair fashions, to include cuts and color. An hour of Iowa Law will be included. The class meets in Looft Hall in the Council Bluffs campus. Fee $45

This course fulfills the sanitation requirements for Health Care Food Service Supervisors, School Food Service, and Meal Site Managers and is recognized nationwide by food service employers.
