Qualifications:
Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Associates degree in accounting or business administration strongly preferred.

Required Experience: Prefer 1 year cashier, teller, accounting or business office experience. Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel, very helpful. Experience with integrated computer accounting system in a college or university environment a plus.

General Position Description: Entry level position under supervision of Accounting Manager, General Ledger. Responsible for cashier functions for Iowa Western Community College.

Specific Duties:
1) Responsible for daily cashiering functions including:
a) Receipt of funds received by the college.
b) Reimbursement to staff members, reconciliation, and replenishment of petty cash.
c) Daily cash drawer reconciliation.

2) Responsible for monthly reconciliation functions including:

Job Duties:
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing all aspects of student communication, both automated and manual, in a multi-faceted Enrollment Services department, including Admissions and Financial Aid.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages all automated communication assigned to prospective students, applicants, and current students via the student information system, including the processing, electronic tracking, printing, assembling, and mailing of all letters and emails.

2. Manages large segment of manual, date-specific communication to prospective students, applicants, and current students regarding admission, financial aid, registration, and payment status.

3. Maintains Admissions and Financial Aid communication timelines, and proactively ensures that communication deadlines are met.
4. Understands all Admissions and Financial Aid processes, policies, and requirements, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve or enhance communication.

5. Proofreads and edits all letters and emails, identifying any inconsistencies or mistakes, and communicates necessary changes or updates to appropriate staff members.
6. Works with various staff members to organize mailing campaigns by preparing the appropriate levels of materials and supplies, and managing the printing, assembling, and mailing processes.
7. Assists with the Admissions processes, including, but not limited to, admissions applications and change of major forms.
8. Assists with the Financial Aid processes, including, but not limited to, tracking documents and applying codes.

Nurse Aid Instructor (Clarinda, Iowa)


Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse with two years of full time experience with at least one year in Long Term Care required.
• Minimum - Associate Degree in Nursing with Baccalaureate degree preferred and teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS: A graduate degree in nursing and two years of clinical experience in an acute care nursing practice setting are required; previous experience as a nurse educator is preferred. * AAS Degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA accredited program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
