Command Spanish for Banking

This course is designed for non-Spanish-speaking bank personnel. You will be introduced to the most important Spanish commands, questions, and phrases pertinent to daily banking interactions. Upon completion of this course you will be able to utilize common Spanish words and phrases for use in the following areas: welcome clients, exchange holiday and special greetings, express and receive dollar amounts and dates, cash checks, assist with deposits and withdrawals, exchange currency, sell money orders, certified checks, and traveler's checks, verify identification, and obtain basic information. Discover communication strategies that will assist you in establishing a mutual level of understanding with Spanish-speaking clients, businesses and customers. This course is designed for English-speaking school personnel, educators, aides, AEA staff, office staff and administrators who need the skills to communicate effectively in a school setting. You will be introduced to need-to-know phrases which will help you communicate key messages to Spanish-speaking students, family members and school visitors. Upon the completion of this course you will be able to utilize common Spanish words and phrases for use in the following areas: greet students and parents, situations that involve meetings with parents, properly identify school subjects and school building, basic social and courtesy phrases, how to identify yourself and your position, school policies and rules, monitor playground, bus and cafeteria behavior, and how to compliment work and behavior.
