Academic Support
TRiO/SSS provides a unique service to students taking math, lab science, or writing courses. Adjunct faculty provide professional tutoring for college-level math courses, biological/lab science classes, and writing assignments. The Faculty Specialists lend their expertise in helping students to improve upon specific skills within these subjects and are instrumental in leading various academic workshops in TRiO/SSS. The Faculty Specialists maintain weekly hours, posted in the TRiO office and are available on a walk-in basis.

Grant Aid
The TRiO/SSS program offers scholarships to eligible students in the Spring and Summer semesters to help participants offset the cost of higher education.
Awards amounts vary and are based on several factors:
- Receiving a Pell Grant
- Participation in TRiO/SSS
- Unmet financial need
- GPA
- At least one semester in the program
