Timeline
While there is no deadline for applying for financial aid, the sooner you are able to apply, the more money is available to help meet your financial need. Once financial aid packages have been awarded in early spring, funds become more limited and so does our ability to help you pay for college education.
Here are some guidelines for taking advantage of financial aid and scholarships resources:
| January 1: | Earliest date by which you can file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the next academic year. |
| June 30: | Date by which Iowa residents must file the FAFSA in order to be considered for the Iowa Voc-Tech Tuition Grant |
| July 1: | IWCC priority deadline for filing the FAFSA |
