What do I do at Iowa Western?
As the Assistant Director of Advising, I am here to help you make the most of your IWCC experience. Come see me for information regarding admissions, registration, financial aid and payment, or your academic program. I’m also an assigned academic advisor for General Studies students.

IWCC Stuff

Favorite IWCC Moment:
I cannot wait to experience the fall semester here at IWCC. I hear the halls become full of students and the campus really comes to life.

IWCC Insider Tip:
If you’re going to eat in the Galley (the cafeteria in the student center) and are pretty hungry, get the buffet. For $4.60 you can fill up your tray with as much food as you desire. Water is free and pop is extra.

Fun Stuff

What could you not live without?
A cell phone with internet connection. I finally added this service to my plan and it is hard to believe I ever operated without it! I like being connected and whenever I am unsure of something I google it!

Community Service Involvement:
I volunteer with the Girl Scouts and this past school year I led a weekly after-school girls club that focused on building leadership skills. It was fun and I even received free Girl Scouts cookies!

Hobbies and Interests:
I love to exercise (working on my rock climbing skills) and I am trying to become a better wakeboarder. I also love to travel and have been to London, Mexico, and Canada.

Favorite Sports Teams:
Go Reivers! However, since I went to both UNO and UNL, the Mavs and Huskers have a special place in my heart.
