Welcome to Radio/Television/Video
Program Information
The Electronic Media Studies Program offers a unique opportunity for those students who wish to pursue a career in the electronic media, but wish to complete their Bachelors degree. The Associate of Arts degree allows students to work in the industry at KIWR or CBTV, and complete the necessary coursework which will fulfill their first two years of their education. Those students interested in working as a news reporter, anchor, manager or owner should strongly consider the Associate of Arts Degree in Electronic Media Studies.
The Electronic Media Studies Program is a challenging, demanding and rewarding program for those students who wish to work in radio, television, corporate video, production houses or free lance work. Students are expected to dedicate a minimum of five hours per week working for one of the campus stations. This work will facilitate the individual's understanding of the various media and develop necessary skills to work in this industry.
