Description
Are you a logical, detail-oriented person who wants to enhance your current career? Do you already have a degree? Do you enjoy browsing the web and purchasing products on the web? If so, you should explore web programming. The Web Programming program prepares students for professional careers in the business world as web programmers and developers. Graduates of this one year program will earn a certificate.
Program Highlights

Students will become proficient with:
- C++ and Java programming languages
- Web Scripting languages
- Web technologies
- Database concepts and technologies
An open computer laboratory is available and furnished with current computing technology. Iowa Western Community College offers an environment which promotes hands-on learning with small class sizes for individual instruction.
Career Information
In the past few years, web-based technologies have become profitable and important tools for businesses. This program will help prepare students for this growing field and could help them excel in a current occupation. The purpose of this program is to enhance a business career. However, the skills learned in this program will be helpful in almost any occupation.
