Student Activities Board
The Student Activities Board (SAB) works hard to ensure that students’ needs are being met. By enhancing campus life for all students, the SAB strives to make your total experience at Iowa Western one of which you can be proud of.
The SAB provides social, multicultural, recreational and educational activities for the College’s students. From movies to lectures, cultural celebrations to concerts, comedy shows to cookouts, hypnotists to stress free weeks, we provide co-curricular activities that enhance students’ experience at Iowa Western. SAB events are an integral component of the students’ overall education and development.
The SAB is students programming for students. As the programming arm of the SAB, the group has a Student Body President, Student Activities Assistant and representatives from each club/organization on campus. Any student can be involved in the planning and selection of SAB events by joining SAB and helping with the extensive work of producing and promoting our events. Through its work in providing these activities, the SAB members develop practical skills in a variety of areas.
The SAB meets every other month in the Student Center. Students who wish to become involved should contact the Student Activities Coordinator.
