How do I Apply?

STEP ONE: Complete Your Housing Application. Complete and submit the Housing Application. You may either complete the application online or print the application form and turn it in to the Housing and Residence Life Department Office located in the Reiver Suites.

STEP TWO: Watch Your Mail for a Housing Contract. After receiving your Housing Application, the Department of Housing and Residence Life will mail you a housing contract and copy of the IWCC Housing Rules and Regulations.  Please note that the Housing contracts for fall housing will not be mailed until after February 1st of any given year.

STEP THREE: Complete Your Housing Contract. Complete your Housing Contract as soon as possible. Please be sure to provide all requested information to ensure that there is no delay in filling your housing request. Submit your signed housing contract to the Housing and Residence Life Department Office either in person at the Reiver Suites office or by mail.

STEP FOUR: Pay Your $200 Refundable Housing Deposit.  Pay your $200 refundable housing deposit. Your housing contract is not complete until you have paid your deposit.

STEP FIVE: Wait for Notification Regarding Your Housing Assignment. After your complete housing contract and $200 deposit have been received by the Residence Life Department, you are eligible for assignment to a housing facility and room. All housing assignments are made on a first come, first served basis. On-campus housing is in high demand at IWCC and there is no guarantee that all students who complete a housing contract will receive a housing assignment. Once you have been assigned to a facility and a room, you will be notified in writing. The IWCC Residence Life Department reserves the right to make changes at any time to housing facility, room, and roommate assignments. You will be notified if your facility, room, or roommate assignment changes.
