The Agronomy Science Transfer Major is designed for students planning to continue their education at a four-year institution. Students complete foundational coursework that prepares them for upper-level study and careers in agronomy, crop production, agricultural research, precision agriculture, and related agricultural sciences. Agronomists are commonly employed as crop consultants and in agronomic sales roles involving seed, fertilizers, and crop protection products. Opportunities are also available in various government, education, and extension services. Graduates of this program are awarded an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree.
