The Automotive Maintenance Certificate prepares students for entry-level careers in the automotive service industry by providing foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Students learn essential automotive principles, maintenance procedures, and electrical systems while gaining practical experience using industry-standard tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology.
Through classroom instruction and laboratory experiences, students develop the technical and professional skills needed to work in dealerships, independent repair facilities, fleet operations, and quick-service centers.
Students who complete this certificate will earn credit toward completion of the Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Diploma or the Automotive Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. Graduates of this program are awarded a certificate.
