Program Information

The Diesel Maintenance Certificate prepares students for entry-level careers in the diesel industry by providing foundational knowledge and extensive hands-on training in diesel equipment maintenance and repair. Students develop technical skills related to diesel engines, chassis systems, drivetrain components, and preventative maintenance procedures.

Through classroom instruction and laboratory experiences, students gain practical experience using industry-standard tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology. Students who complete this certificate will earn credit toward completion of the Diesel Mechanics Diploma and the Diesel Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. Graduates of this program are awarded a certificate.
