Program Overview
Iowa Western is proud to offer a comprehensive Gateway Environmental Training (GET) Certified Job Training Program through funding provided by the EPA Grant. This program equips participants with the skills and certifications necessary to pursue careers in environmental health and safety, hazardous materials handling, and site remediation.

- Asbestos Abatement Worker Training- Asbestos M.A.P. Certification
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER 40) Certification
- OSHA Lead Awareness Certification
- OSHA 10 General Industry Certification
- OSHA Hazard Communication Certification
- General Construction & Deconstruction Training
- Technical Math Training
- Computer Skills Training
Student Support Services
Participants will receive job placement assistance, resume-building support, and access to community resources to ensure a successful transition into the workforce.

Requirements
The following requirements must be met for acceptance:
- 18 years of age or older
- Have a current, valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible for employment in the United States
- Pass a drug test
