OMAHA, NE: — Iowa Western Community College officials announced a significant donation to its Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Program today. Truck Center Companies handed over the keys to a 2020 Freightliner Tractor Truck during a ceremony at its headquarters in Omaha. Truck Center Companies CEO Trey Mytty presented the truck to Iowa Western President Dr. Dan Kinney and Matt Mancuso, executive director of the college’s Business and Community Education Division.
“The donation is critical to the growth of our CDL and diesel technician programs,” Dr. Kinney said. “This new truck will enable the college to train more drivers and diesel technicians in these high demand career fields. We are thankful that Trey and his team at Truck Center Companies recognize the importance of these growing fields and are grateful for the donation.”
