Step 2: Send Your Transcripts

• Ask your high school (or previous college) to send official transcripts directly to Iowa Western.
• GED or HiSET transcripts are also accepted

Step 3: Explore Financial Aid & Scholarships

• Complete the FAFSA to qualify for grants and loans
• Apply for Iowa Western scholarships

Step 4: Apply for Housing (Optional)

• Live close to everything! Choose from Reiver Tower, Village, or Suites.

Step 5: Register for Classes

Once you’re accepted, we’ll email you about New Student Registration (NSR).
You’ll meet your advisor, build your class schedule, and get ready for your first semester.
