Students

We are excited that you have selected Iowa Western as your institution to continue your academic journey! Our goal now is to ensure that you have all the necessary tools to be a successful student. With that starts the new student registration process. Due to COVID-19, Iowa Western is currently unable to host-in person events, but we still have the ability to meet with you individually! Our staff is here and ready to help you every step of the way!

New student registration for the Spring 2021 semester begins on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

What to expect:

As a new student, you will receive a series of emails from the Admissions Office guiding you through the enrollment and registration process. All communication will be sent directly to the personal email address you provided on your application, with a few phone and text reminders.

  1. ROC login information: This email will be sent 48 business hours after you have received your acceptance email. It will contain your login information for your student portal called Reiver Online Campus, also known as ROC. 
  2. Ready…set…get registered for Spring 2021: Our office will send out this email 7 business days after your acceptance email with step-by-step instructions on how to register for your spring 2021 classes. Your Admissions Advisor’s contact information will also be provided, in case you have any follow up questions.
  3. New student orientation (online): 7-10 business days after registering for your spring 2021 semester, you will receive a follow-up confirmation email of registration. This email will contain any missing items (transcripts, missing FAFSA, etc.), along with an online New Student Orientation. This orientation will be required for all new students attending Iowa Western.

We understand that starting college can be a stressful process, but that is why our staff is here to help you every step of the way! We ask that you refer to your admissions emails to identify who your Admissions Advisor is, but you are also welcome to email or contact the Admissions Office directly.
