COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA – Iowa Western Community College has announced another round of community listening sessions to gather input for its upcoming five- and 10-year strategic enrollment initiatives. Entitled “Campus Conversation Tour,” these events are designed to bring together college faculty, staff, and students along with community members to discuss the vision of Southwest Iowa’s premier educational institution.
“Iowa Western plays an important role throughout Southwest Iowa in developing programs to benefit students of all ages,” said Iowa Western President Dr. Dan Kinney. “The listening tour will help guide the administration and board of trustees in its plan to take the college forward in the years ahead.”
The college will make stops Tuesday, May 16, in both Clarinda and Shenandoah. The Conversation Tour in Clarinda will take place at 7:30 a.m. in the Edith Lisle Library and last approximately one hour. The tour moves to the Shenandoah Center for an 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. session. Refreshments will be served at both locations.
To produce the most efficient outcome for the sessions, Iowa Western has solicited the expertise of Tandem Works, a local strategic planning organization.
