The Industrial Technology Individualized Technical Program program of study is designed for currently employed students or students who have a specific career goal. Students are allowed an opportunity to adapt to an existing college program of study to their individual needs and career goals. The intent of this option is to craft a program of study that meets a specific technical career goal.
Students who complete this diploma will have earned an Industrial Technology: Individualized Technical certificate by completion.

What will you do
Students must develop a plan to advance their careers in an industrial technology industry; manufacturing, energy, transportation, or construction. Academic plans should be made with employers, and faculty, with approval of the academic dean.

The specific individualized program of study will be designed with the guidance of an Industrial Technology instructor, and will be approved by the appropriate academic dean. It is required that a coherent program of study consisting of technical related courses found in Industrial Technology, as well as related general education courses, be developed and followed to degree completion. Courses in the advanced manufacturing, trades, energy and transportation areas can be utilized.
1May substitute with MAT 102 or higher.
Upon the successful completion of the program students will:
- Demonstrate technical skills to become employable.

- Apply principles of critical thinking to demonstrate integrative learning.
- Communicate effectively in written form.
- Demonstrate basic math skills needed for employment in technical fields.
