Marshall Wellness Center Membership

Annual Health Fair

The Health Fair is free for IWCC employees to attend and offers free blood screens (discounted for family members), wellness vendor booths, chair massages and much more.

Annual Flu Shot

Flu Shots are provided on campus during flu season. Flu shots are offered to all IWCC employees at no cost.

Health Advocate Program

Employees have access to this program 24/7. This program will help you find doctors, assist with insurance or insurance billing questions, and more! Contact Health Advocate at 866-799-2691 for more information or download the Health Advocate app on your phone.

Arts Center

All employees get ONE free ticket to ALL National series performances at the Arts Center. Contact the Arts Center to get your tickets at 712-388-7148.

Free on-campus parking for all employees and students.

College Store

Employees get a 10% discount at the college store.

Food Service

Employees get 10% off purchases at The Galley or Pirates Cove when using their employee ID card. Load money on your Employee ID card for even more savings! For questions about food discounts, please contact Ext. 3412.

Automotive Repair

Employees and students can arrange for car repairs such as oil changes, tune-ups, brakes, and more! You pay for your service, but there is no labor or taxes added. Scheduling is based on the readiness of students. To schedule your appointment, please go to the Quick Links box on ROC and click Automotive Service.

Cyber Library – Free Magazine Access

Employees have access to free magazines and ebooks through our Cyber Library Bridges program. If you are on a campus computer you will be automatically logged in. If you are on a personal computer/laptop you will log in with your ROC username and password. https://bridges.overdrive.com/cyberlibrary@iwcc.edu


Education Assistance

Tuition Reimbursement

Available for college credit classes offered to full-time employees, spouses, and/or dependents up to 75 credit hours or an associate’s degree with a savings of $14,000 per family member. Contact 712-325-3226.

Full-time employees can receive tuition reimbursement each semester towards non-credit continuing education classes. Contact 712-325-3210.

Tuition Assistance

A full-time employee is eligible for a salary adjustment upon the attainment of a degree. The adjustment is added to the employee’s base salary effective July 1 of each year. To be eligible for such an adjustment, the employee must comply with the policy prior to enrollment in the program. Please refer to policy #426 for more information.

Farm Fund

Any full-time employee can apply for the Farm Fund. Farm Funds are for future education and cannot be used to pay for education that has already been completed. The fund will cover half of tuition cost and also be used for other professional development like workshops or seminars. You can find the application on ROC. Applications taken annually.

Buena Vista University Tuition Discount

Western Governors University

WGU Community College Partner Scholarship Graduates and employees of the Institution are eligible to apply for the WGU Community College Partner Scholarship in the amount of $2,500. $625 per academic term for up to four (4). More information at www.wgu.edu/iacc.

Arizona State University

The Iowa Western Community College MyPath2ASU® transfer experience is available to both students and the staff that supports them. Students can benefit from end-to-end learner navigation through course-by-course guided pathways, assistance in selecting courses that apply to their associate and ASU bachelor’s degree, guaranteed general admission to ASU, and admission into MyPath2ASU major choice if all requirements are met. Verizon Wireless

You get an 18% discount on the main plan and 25% off accessories. You will need to contact Verizon to set up your discount or stop by an official Verizon. Excludes unlimited plan.

Microsoft Office 365

Employees can download up to 5 Microsoft Office 365 licenses by logging in with their IWCC email address and password. The instructions for downloading the software, Microsoft Office 365 Download, are located within the Faculty and Staff Resources list on the Technology Services page.

Sherwin Williams

Employees get a 30%-45% discount on paint and a 15% discount on brushes and rollers and all associated products. You will go into the store let them know you are an employee of Iowa Western and are considered a State of Iowa employee. Contact Central Services Ext. 3235

Summer Hours

Summer Hours Full-time staff members now get an additional 8 hours of paid leave per week. Summer hours will begin on the 1st full week after the Spring semester ends through the final full week in July.
