Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED online is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid & CPR AED training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. The course is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. It is also ideal for anyone who wants to be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies at work, home, or in the community. The Heartsaver Total track is a comprehensive course designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements. HeartCode® BLS Online is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who need Basic Life Support training for their clinical duties. Skills will be done in person at IWCC, you will need to call 712-326-3256.

Free Class!   This blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on session. Successful blended learning can reach students with varying learning styles and in different environments. It combines the flexibility of online training with skills practice and testing for CPR and other psychomotor skills.
Hands-on sessions are conducted in person with an AHA Instructor or by using a Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM), where available. These skills sessions focus on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. You will need to contact IWCC continuing education to set this up.
