You will complete the online BLS Instructor Essentials course. Once you finish the online portion you will come in and do hands-on where we will go over all the material. The cost covers the online, new instructor material, and your card. The American Heart Association is always seeking professionals to conduct training in first aid, CPR, AED, and advanced cardiovascular care. If you are passionate about saving lives, motivated to facilitate learning, feel comfortable in group settings, and find it easy to make complex concepts understandable to others, you may be a perfect candidate. Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED (Asthma care video is optional) online is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid & CPR AED training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. The course is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in children/infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The flexibility to complete the cognitive portion of the course at their own pace and location. The Heartsaver Total track is a comprehensive course designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements. HeartCode® BLS Online is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance. Looft Hall TBD 9am – 4pm. 
This in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding, children's safety and emergency response. This course includes CPR certification. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion.
