The mission of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Iowa Western is to promote awareness, education, and to create accountability at Iowa Western Community College for faculty, staff, and students regarding valuing diversity, promoting inclusion, and striving for equity.
The DEI Committee hosts several events and professional development opportunities throughout each academic year. Our goal is to celebrate our diverse community and educate on why diversity, equity, and inclusion are important to the success of any community.
