ServSafe Food Manger Certificate

The ServSafe Food Safety Training program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. More than 4 million foodservice professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANAB) Conference for Food Protection (CFP). ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.

The ServSafe Manager Certification verifies that a manager or person-in-charge has sufficient food safety knowledge to protect the public from foodborne illness. Individuals that successfully pass the 90-question, multiple-choice exam will receive a ServSafe Manager Certification and wallet card. The ServSafe Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB) under the Conference for Food Protection Standards.

  • A self-paced course allowing at least 2 weeks of preparation before the Exam.
  • 4-hour material review/Q&A followed by a 2-hour exam.
  • Learn about foodborne illness, how to prevent it and how to train employees in food sanitation.
  • This ServSafe Food Manager Course successfully prepares students for a nationally accredited food and safety certification exam administered by a registered ServSafe Proctor.
  • Students can earn the Nationally accepted ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

All examinees with a current certificate will be able to download or print an eCertificate. To obtain their certificates, or request one to be sent, students should log on to ServSafe.com and select Download My Certificates. They’ll see an option to download their certificates, or request one to be mailed via USPS to them directly for a $10 fee.
